Hello, I'm Sarah.

I began my career in the arts 10 years ago after graduating from college with  Bachelors of Arts degree in Film and Visual Culture from UC Riverside. I returned home to Palm Springs, CA in summer of 2008 and started an arts and culture blog, 'The Coachella Valley Art Scene (a 501c3 Nonprofit org),' that focused on the emerging art community of the Coachella Valley.

After 10 years of being the Founder and Executive Director to the grass roots arts nonprofit, I started to shift my focus towards a new direction..

In 2018 I created Scene Creative, LLC.  This new company allowed me the freedom to be the Producer to many different creative projects. Scene's clients range from AEG Live, City of Palm Springs, boutique hotels, school districts, and nonprofits.  We offer services ranging from event management, activities curation, social media content, advertising, art activations, social media management and much more. It has been a joy to watch my creative agency develop into prosperity over the years.

In addition to running creative businesses I am also an artist/crafter. I enjoy making art that brings people joy and happiness. In 2018 I was kept very busy producing commissioned art works for public and private entities, all who saw my art work as ways to involve and interact with the public through fiber arts.

My goals are to find a new direction for CVAS, double revenue for Scene Creative, and produce original artworks for individual collectors in 2019.  Thank you for your interest and support.
